Professors and guest lecturers are needed for the Department of Fine Arts at the Universite Chretienne du Nord d’ Haiti (Christian University of North Haiti) during the Jan – June 1012 time frame.

If you are a fine arts professional, teacher, or academic and want some field experience teaching students hungry to learn, this is a great opportunity for YOU!

Needs include but are not limited to:

Music: piano teacher, voice teacher, instrumental teacher, band teacher, theory instructor, theory and practice of music in worship, building and working with soundtracks.   Instruction is only part of it, they need instructors to help them practice and to encourage them.  They are already eager to learn!

Art: Drawing, Intro to painting, Acrylics, Calligraphy, Pottery and Ceramics

Other areas: Liturgical dance, Folk dance, Mime, Music and mime, Drama

Location: Limbe, Haiti

For longer term volunteers, housing is free but a contribution for food is needed.

For shorter term volunteers, room and board is between $25-$40/day depending on the volunteers needs.
