"Declare among the nations his glory, and among all peoples, his wondrous works." (Psalm 96:3).

Peace beloved in Christ!

Our hearts fill with joy for being able to preach among the nations the glory of God. And it is in deed this glory that makes men and women of different languages, races, peoples and nations understand the true meaning of life given to us through Christ Jesus. This glory can transform and renew lives, not only the lives of those who are the recipients of this glory but also those who minister. There is renewal for all those who preach and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

BACK TO THE BEGININGS

As you know we continue in contact with Albania, the country we served as missionaries for 14 years. In the month of February along with Pastor Ronald Silva, executive secretary of JAMI (The National Baptist mission board of Brazil), and the missionary Glauco, I left for a  week missionary journey to Albania. It was a singular moment. We had the opportunity to visit the churches we planted there and our hearts filled with joy as we saw those we proclaimed the glory of God to, were continuing to serve him with joy. We have been encouraged by the growing ministry of pastors: Edmond Palucaj and his wife Nila, minister of Lajmi i Mire Baptist Church (Good News) and Endri Tabaku and his wife Dysh minister of Drita e Botes Baptist Church (Light of the World). Although these brothers are relatively young in their ministries, we could see the desire that burns in their hearts to make Christ known in Albania. We also took the opportunity to give training for the local leaders. Pastor Ronald Silva, was an instrument used by God to speak about the impact of a well-prepared leadership in transforming communities. What a great honour to be used by our God in the work he is doing through the nations. We hope to return next year. Pray for God to open doors!

WHILE HERE IN THE UK

God has really been kind and gracious to us. Our ministry here in the UK has grown greatly. The work of evangelization requires many sacrifices on our part, but we are willing to pay the price to see as many people as possible get to know the glory of God. As we read in the Word, "our work is not vain in the Lord." (I Cor 15:58 b), and it is not at all, last month we had the joy of ordaining three brothers and three sisters to the diaconal ministry. It was a remarkable moment for the whole Church.

REGARDED TO US…

The Lord has his face shining upon us and blessed us. Pastor Jorge finally finished his master degree in theology, and missionary Hermelinda her diploma in health and social care. The children are on school holiday and expect, without any anxiety, the resumption of classes in September. 

Thanks to everyone for the prayers, they have been holding up our arms for the battle.

Finally we ask the saints to keep praying for our ministry and International ministries, so that the Lord will use us with anointing and authority in order to make known God's glory among the nations of the earth.
