Debbie and Keith Myers, from Worthington, West Virginia, have been endorsed by American Baptist International Ministries (IM) to serve in Mexico with CICEM, Consejo Indígena Campesino Evangélico de México, A.R. (Council of Rural Indigenous Evangelicals of Mexico, A.R.).  The Myers will assist IM partner CICEM in its mission to provide encouragement and support to rural indigenous evangelical churches in their Biblical-Theological training. This training consists of training pastors, church leaders, youth leaders and teachers for the children.   Debbie and Keith  have two children, Boyden (age 13) and Baillie (age 11) who are enthusiastic about joining their parents in ministry in Mexico.

As endorsed missionary candidates, the Myers will be working in the months ahead to build their Missionary Partnership Network.  They will be inviting individuals, groups, and churches to partner with them by committing to share the spiritual, relational, and financial support needed for them to enter the ministry among indigenous churches to which God is calling them.  They are now establishing their Missionary Partnership Team, the small group of coworkers who along with IM staff will assist them in building their Network.  When their Network has demonstrated commitments of sufficient financial support, the Myers will be appointed and commissioned as missionaries and shortly thereafter will depart for Mexico.

Dr. David Carrico, Executive Minister of the West Virginia Baptist Convention, has said of Debbie and Keith, “The Myers have prepared their lives well to be used by the Lord. The WVBC is so blessed to have another missionary family to support with our prayers and resources. Keith and Debbie are gifted and ready to serve the Kingdom.”

Please join IM in celebrating this new endorsement and praying for Keith and Debbie as they invite others to join them as active “partners in the gospel” (Philippians 1:6).  You may send words of encouragement and communicate directly with the Myers at kndmissions@yahoo.com.
